We recently finalized a partnership with a client from Burkina Faso, who purchased our 500 kg/h peanut butter production line to set up their own peanut butter manufacturing facility.
The client had long focused on local peanut resources and related business activities. However, due to factors such as local policies, direct export of the peanuts was not feasible, prompting the client to seek a more suitable method of utilization. Following market research, the client decided to shift away from the traditional sales model and instead process the locally harvested peanuts into peanut butter for sale as a finished product.
Compared to selling raw materials directly, peanut butter is a processed, high-value-added food product; it extends the peanut industry value chain while also meeting consumer demand for convenient, ready-to-eat foods. Consequently, establishing a peanut butter production line represents a key option for clients looking to expand their business.
During the initial phase of the project, our engineers engaged in detailed discussions with the client to gain a comprehensive understanding of their current peanut supply, harvest volumes, projected production capacity, and future development plans. Based on the local peanut supply situation and the client's investment strategy, we ultimately recommended a 500 kg/h peanut butter production line.
Based on the client's product requirements, we designed a comprehensive peanut butter processing solution. The basic processing workflow includes:
Peanut cleaning → Roasting → Cooling → Blanching/Peeling → Grinding → Mixing/Blending → Filling → Capping
This process enables the client to reduce reliance on selling raw materials and instead enter the market with value-added peanut butter. This approach represents a key direction for developing deep food processing in regions rich in agricultural resources: transitioning from the sale of raw agricultural commodities to the production of processed foods and finished consumer products.
For this project in Burkina Faso, we will configure the production line based on the client's actual peanut supply, factory layout, product specifications, and packaging requirements, ensuring seamless integration between equipment units and meeting the client's future production needs.
